Privacy Policy

Casa RA is a personal blog written by Randy and Anitra about leaving Florida for Belize. This page explains what happens to data when you visit, which is less than you might expect.

What this site collects

Nothing, directly. There is no analytics, no tracking pixel, no advertising network, no comment system, and no form to fill in. We do not set cookies and we do not build a profile of you.

What our host sees

The site is served by Cloudflare. Like any web host, their servers record standard request information — IP address, browser and operating system, the page requested, and the time of the request — to deliver pages and protect against abuse. We do not combine that with anything else, and we do not sell or share it. Cloudflare’s handling of that data is covered by their own privacy policy.

Links that leave this site

Pages here link out to YouTube and to other sites we run or recommend. Once you follow one of those links you are on someone else’s property, under their privacy policy, not this one. The YouTube channel in particular is governed by Google’s privacy policy, and watching a video there is a very different data exchange than reading a page here.

Casa RA Publisher

Casa RA Publisher is a private tool we use to publish videos to our own YouTube channel. It is not a product, it is not available to anyone else, and it has exactly one user.

It requests permission to upload videos to, and manage, the Casa RA YouTube channel. It uses that permission solely to upload our own finished videos and set their titles, descriptions, thumbnails and publish times. Its access token is stored locally on our own machine and is never transmitted anywhere else.

It does not read, collect, store or transmit any data belonging to viewers, subscribers or any other person. It has no access to your Google account and never will, because it is not something you can sign into.

Children

This site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. Material changes will be noted on the site.
